The South of Borough Neighbourhood Councillors would like to invite you to the Community Forum meeting on Thursday 7th March, 7 - 9 pm, at Southborough High School, Hook Road, Surbiton, Surrey, KT6 5AS.

This is a very exciting opportunity as it is a London-wide pilot event, the first of its kind in London and therefore in our borough.

We will be joined by representatives from our Emergency Services, Kingston Council and more.

The theme of this meeting will be Community Resilience. Many residents may have been affected by disruptive incidents locally or London-wide in the past months and years. While Kingston is one of the safest boroughs in London to live and work, preparing and planning on a personal, family and community level are vital to reduce the impact of disruptive incidents and speed up the return to normality.

We want to clarify what community resilience means to you and how it's best delivered in this Neighbourhood going forward, meeting the needs and expectations of residents, communities and businesses.

Please RSVP by filling out this short Survey on your understanding of community resilience so we can tailor this event you and your community.

Refreshments will be provided and we look forward to seeing you there.
