Petitions

To receive petitions submitted by councillors or members of the public who live, work or study in the borough.  The petition must contain at least 20 signatures*, and notice of the intention to submit the petition is given in writing to democratic.services@kingston.gov.uk by 10am on the last working day prior to the meeting. *The Chair may waive the 20 signature threshold where the petition relates to a community or geographical area with a limited number of residents.

Improving Kidney Care

A presentation by colleagues from the South West London Clinical Commissioning Group. Kidney doctors and nurses working at St Helier and St George’s hospitals have a proposal to improve kidney care 

Feedback from patients, the public, and anyone who has a view on these proposals, is welcome until Tuesday 7 September 2021.

Consultation Report - Tolworth Roundabout

Officers from Transport for London will attend to give a brief presentation on the results of the consultation on the Tolworth Roundabout Scheme and the next steps.

 

There will be an opportunity for some questions and answers with a view to allocating 30 minutes in total to this item (to ensure the Committee has sufficient time for other items of business on the agenda)

To consider two applications for a SotB Neighbourhood Community Grant (NCG).

RESOLVED that:

 

1)    The application for a £2880 Neighbourhood Community Grant from the Fulham FC Foundation for provision of a Kicks project as detailed in paragraphs 5 - 13 of the report be approved;

2)    The application for £2,916 to support the work of The Voices of Hope in delivery of the BRITE box Project as detailed in paragraphs 14 - 23 of the report be approved.

Exclusion of the Press and Public

The following resolution is included as a standard item which will only be relevant if any exempt matter is to be considered at the meeting for which the Committee wish to resolve to exclude the press and public:

 

To exclude the public from the meeting under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 on the grounds that it is likely that exempt information, as defined in paragraph *….of Part I of Schedule 12A to the Act, would be disclosed and the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.
