3. Declarations of Interest

  • Councillor Dave Ryder-Mills - Non Pecuniary - Councillor Ryder-Mills advised the Committee that whilst he had no involvement with Friends of Kingston Road Recreation Ground, he was not on their committee and did not attend their meetings, he had in the past met with them in respect of ward funding applications. He declared he had no pecuniary interest but in the interests of openness he would surrender the Chair to the Vice Chair for that item, and refrain from voting, but would remain in the meeting.
  • Councillor Emily Davey - Non Pecuniary - Councillor Davey advised that 4 of the grant applicants were in her ward but she was not on any of their committees and would stay in the meeting for the discussion
  • Councillor Katrina Lidbetter - Non Pecuniary - Councillor Netley declared that she worked closely with the Canbury Community Trust. As such she had a significant personal interest and would leave the Chamber for that item.
  • Councillor Maria Netley - Non Pecuniary - Councillor Netley declared that she worked closely with the Canbury Community Trust. As such she had a significant personal interest and would leave the Chamber for that item.
  • Councillor Olly Wehring - Non Pecuniary - Councillor Wehring advised the Committee that he had been with Councillor Ryder-Mills when they met with the Friends of Kingston Road Recreation Ground, that he was not on their committee nor did he attend their meetings. As such he declared an interest but not a personal; or pecuniary interest.

6. Declarations of Interest

  • Councillor Caroline Kerr - Non Pecuniary - Councillors Caroline Kerr declared that she was a member of the Development Control Committee that would be determining the Planning items 9 (Advanced Living) and 10 (Canbury Park) on the agenda). She would accordingly remain in the committee to hear the points made but would not participate in the discussion.
  • Councillor Dave Ryder-Mills - Non Pecuniary - Councillor Dave Ryder-Mills declared that 2 of the Community Grant applicants were in his ward and he had had some dealings with one of the applicants in putting their application forward. He would accordingly hand the Chair to Councillor Kerr for that item and would abstain from participating or voting on that item.
  • Councillor David Cunningham - Non Pecuniary - declared that he was a member of the Development Control Committee that would be determining the Planning items 9 (Advanced Living) and 10 (Canbury Park) on the agenda). He would accordingly remain in the committee to hear the points made but would not participate in the discussion.
  • Councillor Katrina Lidbetter - Non Pecuniary - Councillor Katrina Lidbetter declared the developments were in her ward but she did not see that as an issue.
  • Councillor Maria Netley - Non Pecuniary - Councillor Maria Netley declared that some of the Community Grant applicants were in her ward. On the Healthy Streets report, one of the accesses for a Copenhagen crossing was on the street where she lives. She declared that she would still take part in the debate and vote on the item.
